CURRENT VACANCIES

A-01:-  LEADING NATIONAL BANK-CORPORATE FINANCIAL PLANNING MANAGER VACANCY-SLOUGH

A vacancy has arisen with a leading national bank for a Corporate Financial Planning Manager based in Slough. This is a rare opening and there are only a very small handful of these vacancies throughout the UK.

The first point to emphasise is that no previous corporate experience is required as all training will be provided for the successful individual.

The basic salary is negotiable up to around £38,000 and a 10% loyalty bonus on this figure is paid yearly.A pension contribution of 15 % of basic salary is paid in cash to the adviser.A car allowance of £4,200 is provided. The successful candidate can look forward to earnings of between £100k and £250k.

The role will involve the individual working closely with a team of business banking relationship managers who will effect introductions to existing business customers - limited companies, partnerships and sole traders. There will also be scope to provide financial advice to white collar employees in the work place.

As this is a tied role, and would be suitable for an IFA/Tied/Multi-Tied Adviser who is interested in both higher earnings and a well designated role as such. The candidate will live within reasonable travelling distance of the area.

A-02:- LEADING NATIONAL BANK-IFA VACANCY-ABERDEEN

The opportunity that has opened recently is with a leading national bank which is an IFA role in Aberdeen. All clients are provided and the earnings potential is £70- 100k plus. The role is salaried plus bonus ,car allowance and good pension. The ideal candidate will be reasonably experienced and probably earning no less than £35-40k in their current role.Alternatively, this would suit an IFA that may be producing around £50-80k commission income but is having difficulty attracting sufficient new clients to go beyond this figure.

The role will cover a number of branches in the Aberdeen area .As this is a very senior role ,the style of management is  light handed and the advisers will be mature enough to manage his/her own diary.Additionally, the adviser can conduct 'back office' work at home or indeed at any of the branches. The IFA division is a separate culture ,far removed from the micro-management that applies to the tied branch based advisers.

The IFA will have exclusive authorisation for all IHT work and will receive client introductions from both the branches  and also Private Banking. The client profile is mainly High Net Worth and the adviser will have no shortage of clients.

The basic salary will be negotiable but the initial strong point will not exceed £38,000 .There is a guaranteed 10 % pa loyalty bonus ,a £4200 car allowance and a 15 % pension contribution which is actually paid to the adviser in cash. With performance bonuses ,the successful individual can expect to earn 70 - 100 k plus pa.
